MY PROJECTS

I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Interactive Media. With over half a decade working in the industry, I've specialize in designing interactive gameplay, balancing game systems, and creating intuitive user interfaces.

Phase Jumper

A procedurally generated, top-down scrolling game created with the Unity Game Engine. Originally developed to work with Limbitless Solutions' calibration technology, the game on itch has added keyboard & mouse support for the PC. I was responsible for the design of the variety of powerups, UI direction and implementation thereof.

 

Knight's Oath

This puzzle adventure game was developed over the course of several weeks in Unity for a course on Game Production. I was responsible for the pitch and tasked with producing this project as well as having great influence on the design of the inventory and other menu systems.
This game is currently available for download here!

 

POWER

Turn-based strategy game where the player is tasked with managing a squad of three mechs and their resources. A game developed in the Unreal Engine 4 over 16 weeks for indie development, I was responsible for the level design, map transitions, plus the design and implementation of UI.

RUSHMORE

Third person action shooter with some elements of role-playing. The player controls the four presidents from the Rushmore Monument as they're biologically enhanced by a strange other world substance to fight an alien threat. Developed in the Unreal Engine 4, I was responsible for much of the User Interface, including weapon chart and shop menus.

 

Brush With Faith

A 3D side-scrolling hack-n-slash. Embark on a pilgrimage to become a master of a monastic order. The monks of these lands are renown for their ability to wield giant brushes that ink characters of the elemental forces of nature to life. Developed in Unreal Engine 5, this was a postgraduate project led by myself in partnership with George Brown College to mentor undergraduate students in their pursuit to attain more hands-on, industry standard, production experience.

 

Other Works

I have also worked on many smaller titles and solo projects. Examples displayed down here will be rotated out irregularly!

The Walled City was a competition piece that I decided to keep development. An atmospheric level that is based on the real world (now demolished) Kowloon Walled City. This project was created for the stealth shooter genre in mind and so features tight corridors, dead-end alleyways, and precarious verticality all lit by moonlight and neon signage.
